In
several European countries a district heating system is used to warm
houses. Such a system uses a pipeline network containing warm water
which have been heated e.g. in incinerators or cogeneration plants.
Sometimes heat losses occur due to leakages or corrosion in the
pipeline network. Using thermographic imagery, EUROSENSE can detect
these points in the pipeline network where an increased temperature
(e.g. due to leakages) is noticed.
